TIPS
Attracting specific critters
Lizards: These coldblooded reptiles rely on outside sources for heat rather than generating it themselves. Keep rock piles or rock walls around for them to stretch out and bask in the sun.
Bees: The pollinators are an essential part of harvesting crops. Most are in search of good nectar sources and tasty pollen, like cosmos, black-eyed Susans, lupines and mint.
Butterflies: Brightly colored plants full of nectar will attract these creatures. Some good flowers are button bush, azaleas, clethora and butterfly bush.
