Picos to observe 50th anniversary at family dinner

XBOARDMAN -- Mr. and Mrs. Anthony P. Pico of Boardman, formerly of Campbell, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary June 16. Plans are being made for a family dinner to celebrate the occasion.
Mr. Pico and the former Christa Maria Schaeffner were married June 16, 1953, in Bad Brueckenaur, Germany. He served with the Military Police in the U.S. Army in Wildflecken, Germany, and later worked in the steel mills in Campbell. He also worked as an insurance agent prior to founding Acme Bonding Agency in Youngstown, from which he retired in December 1988.
His wife worked as a telephone operator for the Army.
The couple have three children, Patrick Pico of Canfield, Paulette Dobich of Campbell and Kathleen Gulu of Boardman. Five grandchildren complete their family.
The Picos are members of St. Lucy Church in Campbell.
