Newton Falls 12, Girard FOP 9 -- Ray Saab collected three hits to lead Newton Falls (6-0). John Bjelac, Joe McCartney and Mark Spahlinger each had two hits. Spahlinger doubled. For Girard (3-3), Mike Grumley had three hits, Tom Williams had two doubles and Mike Jennings had two hits.
Poland Home Savings 8, Boardman Boosters 7 -- Daniel Bennett had two hits for Poland, while Colin Durina won the game with a two-run double. Boardman pitcher Matt Nolfi had 13 strikeouts.
Tri-T PONY (13-14s)
Boardman R & amp; J Trucking 10, Poland Campbell Electric 0 -- Dan McCarthy went the distance, allowing two hits while striking out 10. T.J. Hosa was 3-for-3 with one RBI.

BABE RUTH (ages 14-15)
Howland 2, Rondinelli's 1 -- Jeff Musick had two hits and Josh Swipas pitched a complete game. Matt Bable struck out 12 in the loss.

Astros 15, Commercial Neon 2 -- Drew Turocy threw a one-hitter and hit a double and triple.
Livi Steel 10, Astros 4 -- Frank LaRubbio had three hits with three runs scored and Mike Welce also with three hits and three RBIs.

BABE RUTH (13s)
Line Drive 10, Astros 5 -- Line Drive's 12-hit attack was led by Mike Popio, Eric Polen and Dan Kubala. Tyler Amendola got the win. Mark Turnbull had three hits for Astros.
Rondinelli Tuxedo 4, Hubbard 1 -- Corey Nesbitt fired a one-hitter with seven strikeouts for the win.

Travel (ages 14-younger)
Ohio Stars -- won the Lakeview Classic tournament with Tricia Bettura and Brittany Danilov combining to pitch five wins with 36 strikeouts. They gave up 12 runs in the six games Stars played. Stars defeated Lady Hurricanes (twice), Lady Mustangs Gold, Lady Mustangs Green and Poland Pride. Jackie Nentwick led the Stars with nine hits including a triple and three doubles. Rachel Melewski had eight hits while Bettura had seven.
Tri-T PONY (ages 13-14)
Mill Creek Sandwich Factory 19, Reichard Ind. 15 -- Erica Kotel had four hits while Alex Brinkman and Kristen Shaffer had three apiece. For Reichard, Aysen Decheistefaro and Nicole Baughman had two hits each.
Canfield York Mahoning 6, Niles A-Z Drain Service 2 -- Ashley Mondora had two hits and scored twice. Winning pitcher Lauren Sulick tossed a one-hitter and struck out 16 batters. Her two hits included a double. Michelle Maietta and Megan Tomaino each had two hits. For Niles, Jessica Berringer doubled and Christine Tammaro and Tatum Doll scored.
