XBOARDMAN -- Lysa DePerro of Cleveland became the bride of Jeff Papa of Macedonia during a ceremony at 1:30 p.m. May 17 at St. Charles Church.
The Rev. Matthew Mankowski officiated for the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael DePerro, 3987 Fairway Drive, Canfield, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Papa, 210 Stafford Ave.
A reception took place at Antone's Banquet Centre, then the couple left for the Bahamas. They live in Macedonia.
Pearls and crystals adorned the bride's A-line gown of candlelight silk.
Honor attendants were the bride's sisters, Roklyn DePerro Turner and Dayna DePerro. Bridesmaids were Andrea Stamp, the groom's sister; Julie Gallucci, the bride's cousin; Leslie Kopp; Leah Francisco; and Angie Lehew. They wore mushroom- and petal-colored gowns. Flower girl was Rebekah Stamp, his niece.
Best men were Eric Papa, the groom's brother, and Mike DePerro, the bride's brother. Groomsmen were Dan Turner, the bride's brother-in-law; Frank Gallucci, her cousin; Jim Stallsmith; Joe Fanto; and Brian D'Angelo. The groom's nephew, Zachary Stamp, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Papa earned a bachelor's degree in speech communication at Miami University, Oxford. She is an ad executive with Brown and Miller Advertising, Cleveland.
Mr. Papa graduated from Youngstown State University with bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration. He is the South District manager of the Northeast Ohio Market for Bank One, Akron.
