XCAMPBELL -- The Rev. Michael Swierz officiated at 2 p.m. May 10 at St. Joseph the Provider Church for the wedding of Dr. Lisa M. Provenza and John C. Tabak Jr.
Parents of the newlyweds are Roy and MaryAnn Provenza, 4153 Ozanam Ave., Norridge, Ill., and John and Elaine Tabak, 521 Porter Ave.
A reception was held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, and the couple honeymooned in Hawaii.
They live at 4295 Signature Circle, Austintown.
The bride's strapless white matte satin gown featured a fitted bodice accented with Swarovski crystals, pearls and silver embroidery, and a chapel train.
Her sister, Roxanne Dominis, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Paula Mannella; Michele Ackworth and Tammy Tabak, the groom's sisters; Sandy Fralich, his cousin; and Tomasina Donatelli. They wore black gowns. The groom's cousin, Lucia Fralich, was flower girl.
John Mesaros performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Bryan Abeid; Michael Cerimele and John Fralich, groom's cousins; Robert Thomson; and Matthew Dominis, the bride's brother-in-law. Ring bearer was Andrew Fralich, the groom's cousin.
The bride graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a bachelor's degree in biology and from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, with a doctor of chiropractic degree. She is in private practice at Pro Family Chiropractic in Canfield.
Mr. Tabak holds a bachelor's degree in history from Youngstown State University and is a terminal manager for C.C. Midwest in Lordstown.
