XWARREN -- Jami Benedis, 237 Youngstown-Lowellville Road, Lowellville, and John W. Novak, 350 Ohio Ave., McDonald, were married by the Rev. Jerry Kruse at 4 p.m. May 17 at Howland Community Church.
After a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall in Lowellville, the couple left for a honeymoon at the Pocono Mountains.
The daughter of James Wright, 3140 Edgar St., Youngstown, and Sarah Dutton, 1311 Bedford Road, Lowellville, and the son of John and Sally Novak, 451 Indiana Ave., McDonald, live at the bride's address.
An embroidered tulle overlay enhanced the bride's white sheath gown. It featured a halter neckline and fishtail train.
Black and white gown were worn by the honor attendants, Theresa Benedis, the bride's daughter, and Jeri Kriebel, her sister, and the bridesmaids, Heidi Preusser, the groom's daughter, and Jessica Prosser, his daughter-in-law.
Best man was Brian Prosser, the groom's son, and groomsmen were his son-in-law, Glenn Preusser; the bride's brother-in-law, Kevin Kriebel; and her nephew, Kevin Kriebel Jr. Ring bearer was Geordan Prosser, the groom's grandson, and usher was her nephew, Kristopher Kriebel.
The couple are employed by the Ohio Utilities Protection Service in Youngstown. She is a human resource-finance manager, and he is an information technology manager. He served six years as an aviation fire control technician with the U.S. Navy and attended Virginia Commonwealth University, Sterling Campus in Virginia.
