Artz anniversary is celebrated at Saxon Club

XYOUNGSTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. William Artz, 26 N. Glenellen Ave., was celebrated during a family gathering held May 17 at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
Arrangements for the event were made by their family, Jennie and Ballardo Salinas of Austintown, William and Susan Artz of Boardman, and their four grandchildren.
The former Margaret Pallai and Mr. Artz were married June 13, 1953, at the American Hungarian Reformed Church, now Rockview Christian Church, where they are members.
Mrs. Artz, a registered nurse with the Youngstown Hospital Association, retired in 1982. She is a member of the Retired Registered Nurses Association, the Saxon Ladies Branch 22 and the Hungarian Club.
Mr. Artz served with the U.S. Infantry from 1944 to 1946. He was employed as a truck driver with the Youngstown Street Department prior to retiring in 1982. He is a member of the Men's Saxon Club Branch 30, and the Saxon and Arco clubs' boccie teams.
