POTTERY FESTIVAL Schedule



The 36th annual Tri-State Pottery Festival runs from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. today through Saturday.
Directions: From Youngstown area, take state Route 11 south to the East Liverpool downtown exit.
Daily events: Entertainment at 5th and Broadway, rides, games and food at 4th and Broadway. Amusement rides 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Rides are 75 cents each, or $10 for unlimited rides.
Today: 2:30 p.m., Doug and Dave Smith (rock); 3:30 p.m., Echoes of Faith; 5 p.m., Side Show (Rock); 5:30 p.m., doorknob toss, women's tournament, open entry, 6 p.m., doorknob toss, mixed doubles, Thompson Park; 7:30 p.m., magician Jim Tate; 9 p.m. Underdawg (rock).
Friday: 10 a.m. "East Liverpool Idol" festival talent show; noon, Tessy Lynn; 1 p.m., Breezeway (rock); 3 p.m., Mr. Magic, Gary Amos; 4 p.m. Elray Johnson (blues); 6 p.m., doorknob toss, national doubles, Thompson Park; 7 p.m., mustache and beard contest, Carnegie Public Library, Magician, Chris Greenmeyer; 8 p.m., Heart of Country Cloggers; 9:30 p.m., Southbound.
