GIRARD
June 7
Breaking and entering: A woman in the 100 block of East Main Street alleged that her mother's husband removed a screen and broke into her residence through an open window.
Assault: An Austintown woman reported that several people pushed her, and that one person tossed a beer bottle at her, during a party at a Kline Street residence.
June 8
Criminal mischief: A man reported that someone tossed eggs at his vehicle parked in front of his residence in the 1600 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Vandalism: A woman and her son reported that two juveniles threw a brick and a 12-inch piece of wood through a window at their residence in the 200 block of East Kline Street.
June 9
Domestic violence: Police charged a West Liberty Street man with domestic violence after his wife alleged he hit her several times in the face with his fist at their residence. The victim was charged with disorderly conduct.
Vandalism: An employee at Bear Heating & amp; Cooling, 214 W. Liberty St., reported that someone spray-painted two racial slurs on a company truck.

June 2
Criminal damage: A man in the 3000 block of Frederick Street reported that someone did $40 worth of damage to a wooden fence.
June 3
Theft: An employee at Liberty Mini Mart, 3007 Belmont Ave., reported a book of 25 Ohio Lottery tickets lost or stolen.
June 4
Theft: A Youngstown woman reported a horse saddle and bridle missing from a locker at Triple Bar Stables Inc., 875 Tibbetts-Wick Road.
Auto theft: A 1990 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from a driveway in the 3200 block of Goleta Avenue.
Criminal damage: A vehicle's rear window was broken, possibly with a baseball bat, in the 10 block of Ruth Circle.
Criminal damage: A woman reported that a man smashed her vehicle's windshield during an argument on state Route 193.
Auto theft: A 1991 Pontiac was stolen from a residence in the 10 block of Wildfern Drive.
June 5
Theft: A woman reported her checkbook and other items removed from her purse, which was in an office in the 100 block of East Liberty Street.
Criminal damage: Someone caused $200 worth of damage to a vehicle's dashboard while the car was parked in the 4100 block of Logan Gate Road.
June 6
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 26-year-old Youngstown man on a domestic-violence charge after his girlfriend alleged he threw her against a wall, choked her and hit her over the head with a lamp during a fight at a residence in the 3100 block of Hadley Avenue. The woman had various cuts and scratches.
Arrest: Police arrested a 38-year-old man at his Colonial Drive residence on a warrant charging him with felony theft. He also was wanted on charges of failure to appear in court to face one count each of driving under a suspended license and income-tax violation.
Arrest: After investigating a vehicle that was broken down on Goldie Road, police arrested a Youngstown man, 25, on a warrant charging him with assault.
Criminal damage: Someone broke a vehicle's driver's-side window at Hick's Auto, 3583 Belmont Ave.
Recovered property: Police recovered a 1990 Buick Regal in the 2800 block of Donald Avenue that was stolen from Hick's Auto.
June 8
Criminal damage: A man in the 40 block of James Lane reported that a man struck and cracked his vehicle's front windshield.
June 9
Identity theft: A man in the 1600 block of Shannon Road reported that a company called him about problems with a credit application, although he hadn't applied to that company for credit.
June 10
Arrest: After investigating some vehicle break-ins in the 4200 block of Logan Gate Road, police charged a 36-year-old Youngstown man with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and obstructing official business. Officers alleged he led them on a pursuit and refused to cooperate.

June 4
Theft: A man reported his bicycle stolen while he was at the Hubbard Community Pool, 250 Hall Ave.
Fraud: A man in the 7700 block of Bedford Road alleged that a magazine subscription company may have placed a fraudulent charge on his First National Bank credit card.
June 5
Theft: A woman in the 500 block of Gladys Street reported that someone stole a swing from behind her residence.
Theft: A woman reported her purse stolen while she attended a party at Roosevelt Elementary School, 110 Orchard Ave.
June 6
Criminal damage: A man in the 600 block of Wendemere Drive reported that his vehicle's driver's-side rear window was shattered as he drove on Rebecca Avenue.
Criminal mischief: An employee at Gasser Chair Co. Inc., 53 S. Main St., reported that someone threw a rock through a window.
June 7
Drugs: After stopping a car on South Main Street for speeding, police charged a North Hubbard Road man with marijuana possession.
Assault: A Rebecca Avenue woman reported that someone spit on her son while he was in the Subway parking lot, 544 W. Liberty St.
June 9
Theft: A man in the 50 block of West Liberty Street reported various documents removed from his residence.
Vandalism: A man and woman reported that someone tossed toilet paper at their residence in the 600 block of Dorchester Drive.
Criminal mischief: A Ruth Road woman reported that some juveniles threw rocks at and damaged her van while her sister-in-law was driving near Hubbard Coal & amp; Supply Inc., 828 N. Main St.
