Birthplace: Louisiana. Her father was a barrel maker, and her mother was a homemaker. She was one of four children. The family later moved to Youngstown.
Husband: Stephen Zagar, deceased.
Career: She worked as a seamstress for Richman Bros. for almost 30 years and also helped care for her ailing siblings.
Residence: Has lived at Meridian Arms Living Center since 1993. Prior to that she made her home with her nephew, Joseph Krulich.
Interests: Bingo, television, music, dancing and sewing.
Celebration: She is being honored at a party today at the center, where a rosebush will be planted in her honor in the courtyard.
