Fourteen from 910th will return to air station
VIENNA -- Fourteen more Air Force reservists assigned to the 910th Airlift Wing's Security Forces Squadron are expected to return to Youngstown Air Reserve Station at 9:30 p.m. today after 20 months on active duty, including nearly seven months at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia.
After the group returns home, only one reservist from the 910th Security Forces Squadron will remain deployed. However, the 910th Airlift Wing will still have about 270 members deployed throughout the world.
The Security Forces Squadron provides protection for the 910th's C-130 aircraft and personnel; and functions similarly to a municipal police department, working closely with local, county and state police agencies.
