COLUMBUS -- Brooks Colvin and Rick Wilson had RBI singles in a five-run eighth-inning rally as Southwest Missouri State beat Ohio State, 13-8, Saturday night in the first game of their best-of-three NCAA super regional.

Brinkley hit a slow roller and beat the throw to first with a headfirst slide.
Colvin then hit a hard smash at third baseman Jedidiah Stephen that got under Stephen's glove for an RBI single. Wilson followed with a single up the middle that brought in another run.
