Autumn wedding for Miss Miranda and Mr. Thomas

XAUSTINTOWN -- Leoncio and Rosa Tirado, 5693 Tulane Ave., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shirley Marie Miranda of the same address, and Christopher Michael Thomas, 1372 Doncaster Drive, Youngstown.
The future groom is a son of Cristine Thomas of Canfield and Michael Thomas of Austintown.
The bride-elect, also a daughter of the late Edwin Miranda, is a hairdresser and owner of Shiro's Hair Salon. She attended the Hair Academy School of Cosmetology.
The future groom graduated from Ohio State University in Columbus with a bachelor's degree in journalism and is a pharmaceutical representative with Forest Pharmaceuticals, Youngstown.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 2:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at St. Mark Orthodox Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
