Authorities probe death in Boardman

BOARDMAN -- Authorities are trying to determine the cause of death of Kristin M. Mintler, 22, whose body was found by her roommate in her apartment at 115 Shields Road just after 1 p.m. Sunday.
Boardman police said they, the South County Homicide Task Force and the Mahoning County Coroner's Office were treating the death as suspicious because there was no apparent cause.
Boardman police also said they were investigating because of "circumstances at the scene that gave investigators some concerns."
