YBPW Professional women to head organization

A YSU student was the recipient of the organization's scholarship award.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Officers for the 2003-2004 season were installed by Youngstown Business and Professional Women during a meeting held May 27 in the meeting room at Poland Library.
Anne McMahon accepted the responsibility of the office of president, and inducted as her associate officers were Ruth Bradshaw, vice president; Virginia Carissimi, secretary; and Linda Deckant, treasurer.
Five new members were introduced, and the YBPW scholarship of $1,000 was presented to Stephanie Cornwell, a junior majoring in education at Youngstown State University.
In addition to presiding at the installation, Sue Densmore of Region 5 shared information about the nationwide heritage of Business and Professional Women Inc. In existence since 1919, the organization is dedicated to promoting personal and professional growth for women. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month.
