PHOENIX (AP) -- Brandon Phillips broke an 0-for-29 slump with a go-ahead single in the sixth inning that helped the Cleveland Indians to their first interleague win this year, 6-3 over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night.
Jason Davis (5-4) allowed three runs and six hits in seven innings.
David Riske and Danys Baez combined on one-hit relief, with Baez getting three outs his 12th save in 15 chances.
Arizona starter Edgar Gonzalez (1-1), at 20 the youngest player in the major leagues, gave up four runs and 10 hits in 51/3 innings.
