LIMELIGHT Awards, achievements



YOUNGSTOWN -- Katherine Fischer, a career consultant at Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association's Youngstown office, has been awarded the Certified Workforce Development Professional credential by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals. A resident of Edinburg, Pa., she has a bachelor's degree in home-economics education from Youngstown State University.
Workforce Development Professionals help people obtain and maintain employment and self-sufficiency, and Fischer's credential recognizes training and experience.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Joel D. Matthews, a senior financial adviser with American Express based in the Youngstown area, has earned membership in the company's Circle of Success program and an invitation to its Inner Circle Conference. The designation puts Matthews in the upper echelon of the company's top producers.
EAST LIVERPOOL -- Marvin Feldman, an insurance agent and financial adviser for New York Life in East Liverpool, has been named the 2004 Circle of Life honoree by the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation in Park Ridge, Ill. A gala will be held in his honor to benefit the MDRT Foundation grant programs and a charity of Feldman's choice. Feldman has a bachelor's degree in marketing from The Ohio State University.
BRISTOLVILLE -- Lazy B Trailer Sales of Bristolville was presented the Multi-Million Sales Award and named to the Top 10 Club by Featherlite, a trailer manufacturer based in Cresco, Iowa. Lazy B, one of 220 Featherlite dealers nationwide, was recognized for sales volume, growth, service and performance.
