CHAMPION -- Kent State University Trumbull Campus has established a small business information resource services program, which will provide courses and workshops to the small business community and businesses owned by women, minorities and people with disabilities.
The office works through the Workforce Development and Continuing Studies Center's Office for Workforce Diversity.
The program will focus on identifying needs of small businesses, including networking, competition, high personnel turnover, limited staff, marketing and advertising with a small budget and finding new customers.
Each semester offers a series of noncredit workshops.
