XYOUNGSTOWN -- Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. May 3 for the wedding of Zandra-Noemi Franco, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Alejandro A. Franco of Girard, and Don P. Dragish Jr., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Don P. Dragish Sr. of Youngstown.
Monsignors Michael Cariglio, Peter Polando and Michael Ronik and Deacon Joseph Nohra officiated.
After a reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, the couple left for a honeymoon to Hawaii. They live in Girard.
The bride wore a strapless gown of white duchess satin and an Alencon lace mantilla.
Honor attendants were Zaida McGarry and Aileen Franco, and bridesmaids were Sonya Hennessy, Jennifer Cupp, Lori Cafaro, Elizabeth Nohra and Holly Krupitzer. They wore black gowns. Chaileen McGarry was flower girl.
Sharing the duties of best man were Marvin Sevilla and Rick Toman. Groomsmen were Chad McGarry, Alejandro-Alton Franco, Anthony Cafaro Jr., Michael Shoaff and Dr. Gregory Emch. Junior groomsman was Zachary McGarry, and ring bearer was Jared McGarry. Guests were ushered by Edward Novosel Jr. and Ravi Guttikonda.
The bride earned a bachelor's degree in marketing at John Carroll University and a master's of health and human services at Youngstown State University. She is an administrator with Thoracic and Vascular Consultants Inc.
The groom, a graphic designer with the Cafaro Co., graduated from YSU with a bachelor's degree in design.
