2003: Has competed in eight tournaments and won twice, at the Safeway Ping Classic and the Chick-Fil-A Charity Championship. She has won over $500,000.
2002: Won five tournaments: The Office Depot Championships, McDonald's LPGA, First Union Betsy King Classic, Mobile LPGA and the inaugural Sports Today CJ Nine Bridges Classic in Korea. The McDonalds LPGA win was her fourth major championship making her the youngest player to win four majors at 24. Fired season low 63 at Betsy King Classic.
2001: Won five times: YourLife Vitamins LPGA Classic, Longs Drugs Challenge, Jamie Farr Kroger Classic (third time in four years), and AFLAC Champions. Crossed the $3 million mark in career earnings.
2000: Best finish was a third place at Jamie Farr Kroger Classic and also tied for third at the McDonald's LPGA Championships.
1999: Posted a wire-to-wire victory at the ShopRite LPGA Classic and successfully defended her title at the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic, where she won in a six-way playoff.
1998: In her first major championship as an LPGA professional, she went wire-to-wire to win the McDonald's LPGA Championship. She also won the U.S. Women's Open after a 20-hole playoff with amateur Jenny Chuasiriporn. The 92-hole tournament was the longest in women's professional golf. .
Amateur: She won 30 tournaments in Korea. She moved to the United States in 1997.
