Mr. and Mrs. Bill Paris celebrate golden anniversary at family dinner



XHUBBARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Bill Paris of Hubbard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 24 at dinner at Station Square Restaurant in Liberty along with their children and there spouses, Kim and Ty Veney of Georgia and Marc and Evelyn Paris of Pulaski, Pa., and four grandchildren.
The couple will further celebrate the occasion with a trip to Niagara Falls.
Mr. Paris and the former Ceil Smrecansky were married June 13, 1953, at St. Matthias Church in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Marines and is retired from Sherwin-Williams Container Division. He also raises and trains pleasure horses.
His wife is a homemaker.
The Parises belong to St. James the Apostle Church in New Bedford, Pa.
