XHERMITAGE, Pa. -- Buhl Park provided the setting at 4 p.m. May 17 for the garden wedding of Kathryn Deloras Marchek, daughter of Robert J. Marchek of Salem and Janet and Lenny Eddy of Warren, and John Joseph Stella, grandson of John and Barbara Stella of Mercer, Pa.
A private reception was held afterward, and invitations have been extended for a postnuptial reception to be held July 6.
The bride wore a white satin gown designed with an off-the-shoulder neckline and trimmed with Alencon lace and sequins. The skirt flowed to a cathedral train enhanced with an insert embellished with lace and sequins. Her fingertip veil was gathered to a crystal crown, and she carried a cascade bouquet of white lilies, orchids and miniature roses with lavender rosebuds and crystal sprays.
Mrs. Stella graduated from the Trumbull Career and Technical Center with a degree in medical transcription.
Her husband will graduate in June with a degree in nursing from the Mercer County Career Center. He is employed at Sharon Regional Medical Center in Sharon, Pa.
The couple live in Sharon.
