2003: She has played in eight tournaments with two top-10 finishes and has made the cut in all eight running her streak to 53 consecutive cuts made dating back to 2001.
2002: Won two tournaments, back-to-back in Ohio (Giant Eagle, Wendy's Championship for Children at Tartan Fields; Posted three runner-up finishes and crossed the $3 million mark in career earnings. She became one of five LPGA players to earn $1 million during the season. Posted a season-low 64 during the first round of the LPGA Takefuji Classic. Did not miss a cut in all 28 tournaments she played in. She also won the 2002 State Farm LPGA Series bonus pool.
2001: Finished second three times, twice losing in sudden-death playoffs (one-hole to Annika Sorenstam at the Office Depot and one-hole to Rosie Jones at Kathy Ireland Championship. Finished second behind Si Re Pak at the Weetabix British Open marking the first time Koreans have finished one-two in an LPGA major. Made the cut in 28 of 29 events.
2000: Defeated Jeong Jang on the second hold of sudden-death playoff to win the Safeway LPGA Championships. The very next week she lost a playoff to Lori Kane in the New Albany Classic.
1999: Was named Rolex Rookie of the Year on the strength of two wins and 12 top-10 finishes. Became a Rolex First-time winner at the State Farm Rail Classic and won again a month later at the First Union Betsy King Classic.
