Family dinner held to celebrate Johnsons' 50th

XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Auguste Johnson, 3249 Eldora Drive, were guests of honor during a family dinner May 31 at the Grandview Restaurant, Canfield, for the observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts and hostesses for the event were the honorees' children and spouses, Dennis and Kim Johnson of Struthers and Ken and Terri Johnson and Roxanne Johnson, all of Youngstown.
The former Roslyn Siroki, also known as "Roz," and Mr. Johnson, whose nickname is "Augie," were married June 6, 1953, at St. George Church.
Mrs. Johnson worked in Mill Creek Park office and for Servomation Corp.
Retiring in 1984, Mr. Johnson was a firefighter with Youngstown Fire Department Station 15. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
They are members of St. George Church. Their family circle includes four grandsons.
