Dinner honors Mr. and Mrs. Wagner for golden wedding anniversary

XPOLAND -- Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wagner, 35 Water St., were honored during a dinner June 6 at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman for the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts and hostesses for the festivity were the honorees' sons and spouses, Richard and Denise Wagner, David and Tammy Wagner and Bradly Wagner, all of Poland, and Christian Wagner, S. Portland, Maine.
The former Joelyn Davis and Mr. Wagner were married June 6, 1953, at Struthers United Presbyterian Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Wagner have been members of Poland United Methodist Church for 46 years.
She is a volunteer with the Helping Hands at the church.
Retiring in 1994, Mr. Wagner worked as a teletype repair machinist at The Vindicator in Youngstown. At the church he is involved in the Kids Club and vocal and bell choirs.
The family circle includes three grandchildren.
