XYOUNGSTOWN -- Denise Michelle Hohos, daughter of Dennis and JoAnne Hohos, all of Austintown, became the bride of Ryan Alan James of Austintown, son of Gary and Darlene James of Howland, during a June 7 ceremony at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church.
The Rev. Richard Lambert officiated at the 2 p.m. service, and later the newlyweds received guests during a reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
Pearls and sequins highlighted the bride's off-the-shoulder sheath of white satin styled with a basque waistline and detachable cathedral train.
Honor attendant was Danielle Hohos. Bridesmaids were Autumn James, Anitra James, Julie Mackovick, Julie Green and Jenny Mackovick. They wore celadon-colored dresses. Junior bridesmaid was Robbie Taylor Olesky, and flower girl was Sabrina Segretario.
Shawn James served as best man. Groomsmen were Denny Hohos, Anthony Mancini, Jeff Drips, Jim Green and Robert Green. Junior groomsman was Michael Dripps, and ring bearers were Bobby Mackovick and Adam Cifra.
The couple are honeymooning on a cruise to the Bahamas. They will live in Austintown.
Mrs. James is a behavior specialist consultant with Associates in Counseling and Child Guidance, Sharon, Pa. She earned a master's degree in education in counseling at Youngstown State University.
The groom, who attended YSU, is a mortgage broker at Pinnacle Equity Inc., Canfield.
