XYOUNGSTOWN -- The Revs. Edward Noga and Stephen Popovich heard the exchange of marriage vows between Amy Lynn Garchar and William Patrick Schuler, both of 91 Jeannette Drive, Boardman, during a ceremony at 11 a.m. May 10 at St. Patrick Church.
The couple received guests during a reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center then left on a honeymoon to Hawaii.
The newlyweds' parents are Ronald and Susan Garchar, 6917 Slippery Rock Drive, and William Joseph and Patriciann Schuler, 4962 Leffingwell Road, all of Canfield.
Beaded embroidery enhanced the bride's satin A-line gown styled with a split-side wrap and attached train.
Wearing lavender dresses were the honor attendant, Kate Boyle, and bridesmaids Trish Schuler, Erin Schuler and Corey Schuler. Madeline Evan and Juliana Kreatsoulas were flower girls.
James Larentzos was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Brian Schuler, Dr. Christopher Schuler and Bryan Garchar. Ring bearer was Mark Schuler.
Mrs. Schuler graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental studies from Youngstown State University, where she is pursuing a master's in biology. She is a sales associate at the Home Depot, Boardman.
Mr. Schuler earned a bachelor's of engineering in chemical engineering at YSU and is a sales engineer with HydroChem Industrial Services. He served in the U.S. Navy and is a reservist with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 23 at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Vienna.
