June 1
Attempted breaking and entering: A man discovered a piece of metal under a rear garage door after someone tried to break into his property in the 200 block of Seacrest Lane.
June 3
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 1100 block of North Highland Avenue and removed a set of speakers.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke a window to a garage in the 100 block of Church Hill Road and stole an undetermined number of items.
LIBERTY
May 24
Criminal damage: A man in the 1300 block of Mount Everest Drive reported someone used a vehicle to make two large ruts in his front yard.

Criminal damage: A man in the 5000 block of Fifth Avenue reported a plastic flag holder, an American flag and a birdhouse destroyed in his yard.
May 27
Theft/vandalism: Someone stole a vehicle's trunk lid and damaged several vehicles' body work, dashboard and other parts at Nick's Auto Service, 3523 Belmont Ave.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a 32-year-old Youngstown man on a domestic-violence charge after his girlfriend alleged he grabbed her around the throat, pulled her hair and threw her into the wall of a building while she was at the Blue Light Restaurant & amp; Lounge, 3136 Belmont Ave. The victim had a swollen right cheek, red marks around her neck and some cuts.

Arrest: Police arrested a 21-year-old Girard man on a warrant charging him with menacing by stalking.
Theft: Someone stole a lawn ornament from the yard of a residence in the 1300 block of Shannon Road.
May 29
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Hotwires, 2954 Youngstown-Hubbard Road, and removed a safe, two sets of taillights and a license plate frame from two trailers on the property.
Thefts: Two Liberty High School students returned to the Liberty Schools' Varsity House, 4115 Shady Road, from football practice and discovered a total of $103 missing from their wallets.
Arrest: Police arrested a 71-year-old Youngstown man near Midlothian Boulevard and Interstate 680 on warrants charging him with resisting arrest, public indecency, disorderly conduct and driving under a suspended license.
May 30
Theft: Police cited a 52-year-old Youngstown man on a misdemeanor theft charge after an employee at Bob Evans Restaurant, 3818 Belmont Ave., said he refused to pay a $15.88 food bill.
Assault: A Girard man reported someone struck him in the head, kicked and punched him while he was at Spag's Bar, 5718 Belmont Ave. The victim lost a front tooth and had various cuts.
May 31
Arrests: After responding to the theft of 10 cartons of cigarettes at Smoker Friendly, 3814 Belmont Ave., police arrested a New Springfield man, 37, and a Struthers man, 33. The New Springfield man was charged with robbery after two people who tried to stop him alleged he fought with them, and he also was wanted on warrants charging him with robbery and two counts of theft. The other man was charged with complicity to robbery, fleeing and eluding a police officer and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into the rear of Spag's Bar and took two nail guns, a three-piece tool set and a nailing device.
June 1
Arrest: After responding to a domestic situation in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive, police arrested a 25-year-old Youngstown woman wanted on warrants charging her with failure to appear in court to face two counts of theft and one count each of falsification and providing false information.
Auto theft: A 1982 Cadillac DeVille was stolen from the Comfort Inn parking lot, 4055 Belmont Ave.
Possible theft/criminal trespass: A woman called police after she said she saw two suspicious male juveniles around a parked car in the 200 block of Goldie Road.
Criminal damage: A man reported someone slashed one of his vehicle's tires in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Drive.
Criminal damage: A woman in the 2900 block of Roosevelt Drive reported someone tossed a piece of asphalt through a front window and damaged a piece of furniture in the apartment.
Domestic violence: A 16-year-old Youngstown girl was charged with domestic violence and being an unruly child after her mother alleged the girl hit her in the stomach during an argument at their Green Acres Drive residence.
June 2
Criminal damage: An employee at a BP gas station, 2703 Belmont Ave., reported a man pulled away in his truck and tore the hose and nozzle from a pump, causing $300 in damage.

Criminal damage: A Jerry Drive man reported someone broke into his vehicle parked at Devine's Shop 'n' Save, 529 N. Main St.

Criminal damage: Someone used a magic marker to write graffiti on some fixtures at Roosevelt Playground, 110 Orchard Ave.
Vandalism: A man reported someone tore a door partially off its hinges at a building in the 10 block of Walnut Street.

Attempted burglary: A man in the 400 block of Jones Street reported someone tried to break into his residence.
Theft: An employee at Tom's Automotive Inc., 535 W. Liberty St., reported someone used a company credit card to buy items without permission.
Criminal damage: An East Liberty Street woman reported someone spray-painted a side of her vehicle.
Criminal damage: A Mock Street woman reported someone used a key to damage her vehicle's paint.
