Help with electric bill
YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown Area Community Council is scheduling appointments for a limited Home Energy Assistance Program/Summer Crisis Program. Eligible households may get assistance with their electric bill. A limited number of air conditioners will also be provided to income-eligible households with a member who has a respiratory disease or breathing problem verified from a medical professional. Applicants must report total household income for the past three months for all members 18 or older. Homeowners and renters can apply if their household income is equal to or less than 150 percent of the federal poverty guidelines.
