BOARDMAN
May 26
Bad check: An employee at Petsmart, 1100 Doral Drive, alleged that a 35-year-old woman presented a $200 stolen check.
Drugs: A 45-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at C's Waffle House, 7424 Market St., and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police say they found a suspected filter used to smoke drugs.
Arrest: A 31-year-old Youngstown man was charged with failure to comply with the orders of a police officer after police say he refused to stop his motorcycle when they tried to conduct a traffic stop.
Theft, criminal damage: Someone smashed a vehicle's passenger-side window in the 1900 block of Wolosyn Circle and stole a car stereo.
Burglary: A woman in the 1400 block of Country Club Avenue reported her garage broken into and an AM/FM compact-disc stereo and $28 removed from a car.
Criminal damage: A man in the 700 block of Golfview Drive reported that someone damaged his plastic mailbox.
May 27
Theft, criminal damage: A man discovered his car's passenger-side window smashed and a radio taken in the 80 block of Lemans Drive.
Theft, criminal damage: An employee at Lone Star Steakhouse & amp; Saloon, 1738 Boardman-Poland Road, reported her vehicle damaged and a cellular phone, 20 CDs and a paycheck stolen.
Theft: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 60 block of Overhill Avenue and removed a purse and several credit cards.
Theft: Someone broke into a vehicle in the 5500 block of Market Street and stole 200 CDs and a CD player.
Criminal damage: A vehicle parked in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue had two dents, and its driver's-side window was broken.
Theft: A vehicle's passenger-side window was smashed and a CD case, 96 CDs and a cellular phone were removed while the car was parked at Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave.
Theft: A woman discovered her checkbook and debit card missing from her purse while she was at Club South Health & amp; Fitness Center, 7120 Tiffany Boulevard.
Theft: A 27-year-old McDonald woman was charged with theft after three lobster tails, three packs of cigarettes and a package of cooked shrimp were stolen from Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive.
Theft: Police arrested a 41-year-old Niles woman on a theft charge after $150 worth of clothing was stolen from Sears in Southern Park Mall.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 300 block of Mathews Road reported his residence broken into and a vacuum cleaner taken.
Theft: Someone broke into a truck at Frederick Dodge, 7554 Market St., and stole a stereo.
Assault: A 30-year-old Boardman man was charged with assault after a South Cadillac Drive woman reported that someone spit on her 5-year-old son when he was at Dairy Queen, 6120 Market St.
May 28
Arrest: A 27-year-old Lake Milton woman was charged with complicity to passing bad checks after a $289.30 bad check was passed at Marc's discount store, 7121 Tiffany Boulevard. She also was wanted on a warrant charging her with forgery.
Theft: An employee at Cellular Dimension in the Southern Park Mall discovered a laptop computer stolen from a kiosk.
Theft: A man reported that someone broke into his father's vehicle and stole two amplifiers, a cellular phone and 200 CDs while the car was at Boardman High School.
Theft: A 26-year-old Austintown woman was charged with theft after $786.44 worth of clothes, jewelry and other items was stolen from Kohl's department store, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.
Theft: Ohio license plate was removed from a vehicle parked in the 8400 block of Crystal Drive.
Theft: Fifteen cartons of cigarettes and a shopping basket were stolen from Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive.
May 29
Criminal damage: A man in the 1900 block of Wolosyn Circle discovered damage to his vehicle's trim around the passenger-side windows and the car's lock assembly.
Theft: A woman in the 5700 block of Rosewood Drive discovered a $300 iron planter stolen from her front porch.
Theft: An employee at Dollar General discount store, 271 Boardman-Canfield Road, discovered three keys, $40 and a Visa credit card missing from her purse while she worked.
Theft: A vehicle's Ohio registration plate was stolen in the 300 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Theft: A man reported that someone broke into his truck near a soccer field at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St., and removed an in-dash CD player, a book containing 30 to 35 CDs and a Pittsburgh Steelers visor.
Theft, criminal damage: Someone damaged a vehicle parked at Inner Circle Pizza, 1816 Boardman-Poland Road, and stole an AM/FM detachable faceplate, a CD case and 25 CDs.
Theft: A woman in the 800 block of Cook Avenue reported a sewing machine and two gold bands missing from her apartment.
Robbery: An employee at Rich Oil, 5823 South Ave., alleged that a man in his 30s stole two cartons of cigarettes and $5 worth of gasoline.
May 30
Burglary: A woman in the 200 block of Mill Creek Drive reported that an unknown amount of clothing, food and toilet paper was stolen from her residence.
Theft: A man in the 100 block of Shields Road reported an 18-speed mountain bike stolen from his residence.
Theft: A man discovered his vehicle broken into and an in-dash AM/FM CD player and $5 in change stolen while the car was parked at the Springfield Grille, 7413 Tiffany Blvd. The vehicle's driver's-side door lock assembly and dashboard were damaged.
Criminal damage: Someone scratched three marks onto a vehicle's passenger side in the 500 block of Boardman-Canfield Road.
Criminal damage: An employee at Goodwill Industries, 7986 Southern Blvd., reported an ottoman and a dresser damaged.
Drugs: A 34-year-old Lake Milton woman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a suspected brass marijuana pipe in her car.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown women, both 18, on theft charges after two articles of clothing were stolen from Gabriel Bros., 850 Boardman-Poland Road.
Arrests: After investigating an alleged drinking party at a residence in the 200 block of Shields Road, police arrested a girl, 17, and a man, 19, both from Boardman. He was charged with offenses involving underage people; the girl was charged with permitting underage drinking.
Recovered property: A 1993 Buick Century was recovered after being stolen in the 300 block of East Midlothian Boulevard.
May 31
Criminal damage: A man discovered a bullet hole in a tarpaulin covering his boat in front of his residence in the 4000 block of Chester Drive.
Theft: Police arrested two Youngstown women, ages 18 and 19, on charges of theft and possession of criminal tools after $230.80 worth of clothing and shoes was stolen from Gabriel Bros. One woman also was charged with obstructing official business and was wanted on an assault charge.
Theft: A Connellsville, Pa., man reported that a .45-caliber weapon, a duffle bag, $25 and miscellaneous clothes were stolen while he stayed at the Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave.
Counterfeit: A man in his 20s allegedly attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at Petsmart.
Drugs: A 20-year-old Youngstown man was arrested at the Southern Park Mall and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse after police say he was in possession of suspected marijuana. A 23-year-old Houston man was charged with receiving stolen property and possessing an open container of alcohol. Police alleged he had a stolen vehicle.
Criminal damage: A man reported that one of his vehicle's tires was slashed while it was parked near Jillian's Entertainment in the Southern Park Mall.
June 1
Arrest: After a traffic stop on U.S. Route 224, a 24-year-old Poland man was charged with failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer.
Drugs: After a traffic stop on Green Garden Drive, a Boardman boy, 17, was charged with underage possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say they found two cans of beer, a suspected marijuana pipe and a bag containing suspected marijuana residue.
Theft: A man in the 1800 block of Wingate Road reported a hanging plant basket stolen from his front porch.
Theft: A man reported a tool box, a cordless saw, a grinder and $100 worth of miscellaneous tools stolen from his pickup truck parked at Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Six graduation lawn signs were taken from a front yard in the 6000 block of Appleridge Drive.
Burglary: Someone broke into an apartment in the 4000 block of South Schenley Avenue and removed five DVDs, $850 in cash, and an 18-inch gold chain.
Theft: An employee at Papa John's Pizza, 1393 Boardman-Canfield Road, reported an in-dash CD player taken from his vehicle.
Theft, criminal damage: A man discovered his vehicle's driver's-side rear window and dashboard damaged while the car was at Cinema South Inc., 7420 South Ave. An in-dash CD player, 10 CDs, $30 in cash and a cellular phone were stolen.

May 29
Theft: A pupil at Poland Middle School, 47 College St., reported his bicycle stolen from a bike rack at the school.
May 31
Vandalism: Someone spray-painted a flagpole, a memorial and a rock in front of Poland Middle School.
