XChaney High School January and June Classes of 1946 will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday for a get-together at Denny's restaurant in Austintown.
XChaney High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for lunch at 1 p.m. June 10 at Charly's Restaurant in Austintown. Plans will be made for the 55th reunion to be held Aug. 30 at Birch Hill Cabin in Mill Creek Park. Those who have not received an invitation should call (330) 799-9247 or (330) 758-5809.
XGraduates of Kinsman or Badger high schools are invited to the 75th Kinsman Alumni banquet June 14. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at the fire department building on Center Ridge Road, Kinsman, with a Swiss steak dinner at 6:30. The classes of 1933, 1943 and 1953 will be honored. Cost is $7 plus $2 for alumni dues. Guests are $7. There is no charge for those who graduated before 1938. Paid reservations can be mailed to KHS Alumni, Evelyn Anderson, 703 Kinsman Road, Jamestown, Pa. 16134. Those unable to attend are encouraged to send a note or letter.
Donations to the group's scholarship fund also are being accepted.
XMineral Ridge High School Alumni will have a banquet June 21 at the high school. Price is $18 per person. A social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner will start at 6:30. The graduating classes of 1953 and 2003 will be the honored. XMount Union College Alumni events will be held this weekend at the campus in Alliance. There will be a golf scramble at 1 p.m. Friday at Tannenhauf Golf Course and a steak fry at 6. Greek organizations also will hold reunions. Various classes will mark reunions from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday. XAn annual Republic Avenue-Avon Street Reunion will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Saxon Club. XSouth High School All-Class Alumni 29th annual reunion will be held at 6 p.m. June 13 at the Saxon Club in Austintown.
