NEWPORT, Wales -- Ian Poulter of England withstood a rough stretch on the back nine Saturday but led the Wales Open by two strokes entering the final round.
Poulter bogeyed the 14th and 15th and double-bogeyed the 16th. He finished at 4-under-par 68 and was at 16-under 200 after three rounds. Phillip Price of Wales shot a 68 for a 202.
Fredrik Jacobson of Sweden, seeking his third victory of the season, was at 203 after a 64. That would have been a course record had Jarrod Moseley of Australia not turned in a 63 minutes earlier.
Jacobson, who has overcome a wrist injury, made four birdies on the front nine and four more in a row starting at the 10th. He bogeyed 15 and birdied the last.
Moseley birdied the last four holes for his 63, including a 40-foot putt at the 15th.
