Marinette Pichon had both goals for Philadelphia (1-5-1), which remained winless at home in three matches (0-2-1). Goalie Melissa Moore stopped 2 shots.
With Carolina trailing 2-1, Fotopoulos tied it in the 83rd minute when she put in a rebound following Moore's diving save on Unni Lehn's shot for her fifth goal of the season.
Pichon gave Philadelphia a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute when she went in on a breakaway and put in her own rebound after Luckenbill made the initial save.
Prinz tied the game in the 44th minute when her right-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area slipped underneath Moore for her fourth of the campaign.
