Promoter: Pavlikto fight at Cafaro
Youngstown boxer Kelly Pavlik will take an undefeated record into a co-featured ESPN card July 1 at Cafaro Field in Niles.
Promoter George Chung announced the venue Friday for the upcoming card, which will be part of ESPN's "Friday Night Fights on Tuesday" boxing series.
ESPN had preferred the card to be held in an outdoor venue. Cafaro Field, home of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, will provide just that.
Pavlik is 17-0 with 16 knockouts.
His next opponent has not been announced.
Pavlik's last fight was in Las Vegas on March 23, when he won by TKO over Cesear Avilla in the sixth round, but he has been inactive since then to allow an ailing right hand to heal.
