Would Mason take the case?
Members of Sharon City Council were examining legal costs associated with operation of the city's police pension fund last week and decided that the $250 an hour the fund is paying for legal consultations is just too expensive.
"You can get Perry Mason for less," said Councilman Lou Rotunno. Council wants to renegotiate those fees.
Kayak paddling for women

The workshop cost is $25, and participants should be at least age 16. They should also bring a bag lunch. To register, call (814) 282-8300. The French Creek Project is a private group formed to protect and enhance the French Creek watershed.
