LONG HISTORY: Edison Junior High School, above, will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday to allow residents to walk the halls one final time. The junior high opened in 1914 as the city's high school and houses seventh and eighth grades. Garfield Elementary will also be open at the same time.
