Swimming lessons
The Trumbull County Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering swimming lessons for children. There is a fee of $5 per child, with a maximum of $15 per family. Registration is limited to the day and time listed for each site. There is no registration by mail. Call the Red Cross at (330) 392-2551. Dates and locations are:
Warren G. Harding High School pool, June 16 through 27. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 9 at Red Cross, 661 Mahoning Ave. N.W. Second session Aug. 4 through Aug. 15. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 28 at Red Cross.
Waddell Pool, July 21 through Aug. 1. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 15 at the pool, Sharkey Street, Niles.
Joseph Badger Meadows, July 7 through 18. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 30 at Joseph Badger Meadows, 7266 Hayes Orangeville Road, Burghill.
