Tri-T Pony (ages 13-14)
Boardman R & amp;J Trucking 2, Niles Ianazone 0 -- The winning pitcher, Dan McCarthy, went the distance, allowing one hit while striking out 16 batters. Eddie Rohan had a double and a single with one RBI, while Mark Carrocce drove in the other run in the sixth inning. The losing pitcher for Niles was Tony Ragazine, who allowed five hits while striking out eight batters.
Campbell Red 5, Poland Perkins Builders 3 -- Victor Rivera Jr. pitched seven strong innings, with seven strikeouts, for the win. Ryan Burton had two hits. For Poland, Blake Rhein went 3-for-3 with a walk.
NEO Continental Colt League (ages 15-17)
Girard Fraternal Order of Police 12, Vienna Midway Mobile Homes 1 -- Tom Williams had a pair of doubles, while Nick Canterino and Mike Jennings added a pair of singles each to pace Girard's 10-hit attack. Mike Cramer pitched a two-hitter while striking out six.
Babe Ruth (13s)
Rondinelli 5, Howland 4 -- Andy Zunic had a game-winning two-run double, while Dan Banna and Andy Grzebieniak also doubled. Roberto Morales pitched a complete game for the win.
Line Drive 6, Astros 3 -- Mike Popio had two hits and scored twice while Eric Polan had two hits with two RBIs. Line Drive pitchers held Astros to 3 hits.
Babe Ruth (14-15s)
Rondinelli 7, Astros 2 -- Brian Bianco scattered five hits with five strikeouts for a complete game win. Mike Hoelzel had two RBIs while Corey Collins and Matt Katich each scored twice.
Rondinelli 11, Howland 3 -- Anthony Brunetti went 4-for-4 and Matt Katich, Grant Wilcox and Jessie Mosses all had two hits each. Katich also got the win, throwing a complete game with six strikeouts. Jeff Musick and Jon Krause had two hits each for Howland.
Livi Steel 7, Howland 4 -- Frank LaRubbio went 2-for-2 with a triple, while Aaron Cosma tripled and Bill Couchemour doubled. Jim Pasquine went six innings for the win. Jeff Musick had two hits for Howland.
Belleria Pizza 13, Commercial Neon 3 -- Andrew Sarich's three RBIs and John Mrosko's two RBIs led the way while Chris Martin got the win.
SOFTBALL
Pony Fast-Pitch (ages 14 & amp; under)
Boardman Spartan Chevy 10, Mill Creek Sandwich Factory 3 -- Beth Franklin allowed two hits and struck out seven in five innings for the victory. Makala Gasparek had two doubles and a triple. Danielle Burin, Franklin, Marissa Cercone and Chelsea Hodges added two hits each.
Boardman Spartan Chevy 9, Canfield York Mahoning 4 -- Beth Franklin pitched all seven innings, recording 11 strikeouts for the victory. Danielle Burin had three hits and three RBIs. For Canfield, Casey Wilson and Ashley Mondora had two hits each.
Canfield York Mahoning 6, Poland Springfield Grille 1 -- Lauren Sulick had two hits while striking out 13 batters and allowing five hits as the pitcher. Megan Tomaino added two hits and two runs, while Sheza Khaoid and Theresa Luklan each added two hits. For Poland, C.J. McBride had a hit and scored the only run, while Sarah Courtney and Samantha Pompili contributed hits.
