ODOT Road projects

Projects the Ohio Department of Transportation is working on this week in Mahoning and Trumbull counties:
MAHONING COUNTY
U.S. Route 224 bridge over Yellow Creek just east of state Route 170 in Poland, closed for replacement until further notice. Detour posted. Scheduled completion: late fall.
Interstate 76 bridge over Lake Milton, two lanes open in both directions, using crossovers to divert traffic to the new eastbound bridge while working on the closed westbound bridge. Completion: late fall.
Beech Street in Boardman will be closed June 2-9.
South Avenue in Boardman is reduced to one lane in each direction between Western Reserve Road and Presidential Drive. Completion: late summer.
U.S. Route 224 in Berlin Township is closed between state Route 534 and Bedell Road because of bridge construction. Detour posted. Completion: late fall.
U.S. Route 422 from Beck Street to the state Route 711 on-ramps, reduced to one lane each direction until further notice.
Dearborn Street at Sarah Street, Youngstown, is closed until further notice for culvert replacement.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
State Route 11 at the Liberty Street bridge is reduced to one lane in each direction.
State Route 46 in Niles is reduced to one lane in each direction from state Route 169 to U.S. Route 422. The bridge north of North River Road is closed.
Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction at the interchange of state Route 82 and state Route 11 in Vienna from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Ramp traffic will be maintained.
Belmont Avenue from Colonial Drive to state Route 304, various daytime lane closures through fall 2003.
State Route 7 at state Route 7/82, various lane restrictions maintained by flaggers until further notice.
State Route 5 in Cortland, one lane of traffic open in each direction until late fall 2003. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers between South Mecca Street and West and East Main streets.
State Route 5 and state Route 82 bypass around Warren reduced to one lane in each direction until late fall. North Park Road between state Route 45 and Perkins Jones Road will have truck detour during bypass bridge work. Through traffic on North Park Road limited to one lane maintained with traffic lights.
State Route 45 in North Bloomfield Township reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction from Ashtabula County line to Peck Leach Road during daytime hours.
State Route 45 bridge over Baughman Creek in North Bristol reduced to one lane, with traffic lights at both ends of the bridge.
State Route 46 Niles viaduct over Mahoning River reduced to one lane in each direction until late fall, with First Street closed at the bridge for the project's duration.
U.S. Route 422 from Interstate 80 to the northern Girard city limits reduced to one lane in each direction for road-widening. Completion: late fall 2004.
