ASSOCIATIONS
XMill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold it's annual Business Associate Night on June 10 in the South Hall banquet room at Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana. The theme will be "A Walk through the Gardens of Vienna". The social hour will begin at 6 p.m. followed by a sit-down dinner at 6:30. Cost is $21, and entree choices are baked chicken with mushrooms or slow-roasted beef. XYoungstown Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet for a luncheon at 11 a.m. June 7 in the Gathering Room at Park Vista South, 1215 Fifth Ave. Kathleen Johnson will install officers. Michael Cervone, April Antell Tarantine and Laurie Thompson will provide entertainment. Hostesses will be Mary Rose Butch, Mary B. Smith and Virginia Schrum. XPoland Center Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday for a casserole dinner at Poland United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Alexandria Simon, Regina Shaluga and Dorothy Timko. Members are to take ribbon for bows, scissors and wire.
XYoungstown South Christian Women's Club will hold an "A Golden Summer" luncheon at noon June 12 at Antone's Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St., Boardman. The program will feature Tom Bartholomew, a representative of Tele-Gold Jewelers; Rachell Joy, soloist; and Chris Bassett of Michigan, the speaker. XYoungstown Women's Connection will hold a luncheon at noon June 10 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, 115 S. Meridian Road. Chris Bassett of Michigan will speak on "How to Handle Any Crisis," and music will be by Mary Jane Brown. The cost is $6.50. XCatholic Women's Club of St. Rose, Girard, will hold its annual picnic at 6:30 p.m. June 9 at Tod Park pavilion. Laney O'Leary will be chairwoman.
SINGLES
XCatholic Alumni Club of Youngstown will hold a picnic June 8 at Bears Den Cabin in Mill Creek Park. Activities begin at 12:30 p.m. with lunch at 1:30. The cost is $9 with a reservation or $11 without. Members may take a board game or cards and a food item, or lunch will be provided by the committee.
