Miller jubilee to be marked at open house



XFARMDALE -- Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Miller, 3852 Garner Barclay Road, will be the guests of honor at an open house celebration planned in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.
The festivity will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. June 15 at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Mindy Miller of 3738 Garner Barclay Road. Also participating will be their two grandchildren.
The former Beryl Knox and Mr. Miller were united in marriage June 13, 1953, at Assembly of God Church in Warren. They are members of Gustavus Federated Church.
Mrs. Miller was employed by Gustavus, Lordstown, and Lakeview school districts as a math teacher at Gustavus, Lordstown and Cortland schools until retiring in 1977. She is a member of the Friendly Garden Club, Trumbull County Historical Society, Ohio State Garden Club, Community Aid, U & amp;I Club and the National Judges Council Garden Club.
Mr. Miller retired in 1994 after being employed as a bus driver with Joseph Badger Schools. He served with the 717th Tank Battalion during World War II.
The couple are members of the Trumbull County Farm Bureau and Gustavus Grange.
