XYOUNGSTOWN -- Stephen Russell Franks and his bride, the former Jennifer Robyn Harris, both of 1187 Pitkin Ave., Akron, honeymooned at Lake Tahoe in Nevada after their April 26 wedding at St. Columbia Cathedral.
The Rev. John Keehner Jr. presided at the 2:30 p.m. wedding, and the couple were honored afterward during a reception at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Mill Creek Park.
The daughter of Colleen and David Harris, 4085 Bob-O-Link Drive, Canfield, and the son of Andrea and William Franks of Canton, live in Akron.
The bride wore a sleeveless A-line gown of ivory satin designed with a split-front overskirt and enhanced with two-tone embroidery.
Champagne-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Terasa Morris, and the bridesmaids, Kathryn Harris, the bride's sister; Amy Johns; and Jill Franks, the groom's sister. Flower girl was Alexis Shea Jones, a niece of the bride.
Scott Roth served as best man, and groomsmen were Brian Mountford, Joseph Brandenburg and Colin Harris, the bride's brother. Ushers were Shawn Danko and Peter Nadel.
The bride and groom graduated from the University of Cincinnati with their bachelor's degrees, hers in history and his in environmental science. Both are attorneys after receiving their juris doctorate degrees from the University of Akron School of Law.
