How to prevent the theft of possessions from your car:
Keep items with you.
Put them out of sight, under the seat or in the trunk.
Park in well-lighted and high-traffic or visibility areas.
Lock car doors and roll up windows.
Install security alarm.
Remove packages and containers that appear to hold valuables.
