Dead man identified

YOUNGSTOWN -- The man who fell to his death Thursday morning has been identified as Timothy E. Schromofsky, 34, of Fountain Street. A ruling on the death is pending, said Richard M. Jamrozik, Mahoning County coroner's investigator.
Police said Schromofsky jumped from a 12th-floor window of the First National Bank building downtown and landed on the roof of the former McCrory's building.
