Colonnas mark 50th anniversary at reception

XAUSTINTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Colonna, 537 Forest Hill Drive, were honored May 31 at a reception held by invitation at the Saxon Club in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the festivity were the couple's children and their spouses, Joseph and Patricia Colonna of Hubbard, Theresa and Pat Iudiciani of Poland, Denise and Frank Sybelnik of Poland and Diane Lozier of Canfield. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Colonna and the former Helen Tavolario were married June 6, 1953, at Immaculate Conception Church in Youngstown. He served in the 11th Airborne Division of the U.S. Army and retired in 1993 from U.S. Steel Co. in Youngstown and General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
His wife is a homemaker.
The Colonnas belong to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
