CARRIE MATUNETIM SULLIVAN
XSTRUTHERS -- St. Nicholas Church was the setting at 2 p.m. April 26 for the wedding of Carrie Matune of Cincinnati, formerly of Youngstown, and Tim Sullivan of Cincinnati.
The Rev. Philip Rogers officiated, and a reception was held for the couple at Mount Carmel Society, Youngstown.
After a honeymoon to Rome, Florence and Venice in Italy, the newlyweds live at 5487 Cleves Warsaw Pike, Cincinnati.
The bride, a daughter of Steven Matune of Youngstown and Sandusky and the late Margaret Matune, is a registered nurse in the electrophysiology laboratory of The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Bowling Green State University.
Thomas and Athena Sullivan of Cincinnati are parents of the groom. He graduated from BGSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration and is vice president of Sullivan Construction Inc., Cincinnati.
The bride's strapless candlelight gown was enhanced with Venetian lace and featured a chapel train.
Pale-pink gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Beth Matune, and the bridesmaids, Sally Wall, Annie Bender, Shannan Markowski, Leslie Miklandric, Shannon Cook, Christina DeSantis and Diane Glieble. Flower girls were Olivia and Sabrina Wall and Lauren Glieble.
P.J. Dascenzo and Dave Wall shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Steve Sullivan, Bill Miklandric, John Tretzger, Greg Hassett, Michael Rohrer and Brian Flanigan. Ring bearer was Connor Sullivan.
