BECKY SHER | Hype Juggle your way into her heart
Hey, guys, want to impress a lady this summer? Spend a rainy day learning to juggle, and she'll fall for your slightly silly, totally lovable act -- hook, line and sinker. Ah, you say, but how do I master that mysterious art? No prob -- shell out six bucks for a little kit that will teach you everything you need to know.
"Juggle!" is another cute entry in a series of "Mini Kits" that are a ton of fun. But unlike some of them that are more fun to look at than they are useful, the juggling kit will teach you something. (And then it's up to you to catch that girl's eye at a party and strut your stuff.) The kit comes with three colorful scarves (hey, you're a beginner) and an instruction book small enough to tuck in the pocket of your shorts. Remember, practice makes perfect!
"Juggle!" and other Mini Kits are $5.95 at bookstores and online booksellers.
Your voice
Kelly who? You don't have to sing your heart out on Fox's talent show to be the next American idol. Pantene is holding its own search for music's next big superstar. Pantene Pro-Voice is open only to women ages 14 through 24, and the payoff is pretty special: If you're the winner, you'll head to the studio to record a demo. And who knows what could happen after that? Stretch limos, screaming fans and your face on magazine covers?
The top three finalists will perform at a special concert in New York's Central Park in August, alongside stars such as Mya, Vanessa Carlton, Tweet and Lucy Woodward. Not too shabby. Then one girl's life will be changed forever when music-biz reps choose her to be the next big thing. Think you're it? Log on to www.pro-voice.com for an application (due Saturday) and rules.
