AUCTIONS
XSt. Lucy Church, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell, will hold a Chinese auction Sunday in the parish banquet center. Doors will open at 1 p.m., and the drawing will begin at 3. Admission is $4 and includes a sheet of auction tickets, cake and beverage. Food and pop also will be available for sale.
CELEBRATIONS
XVFW Post 6488 and Auxiliary, 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, Youngstown, will hold their annual luau from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $10. Dinner will be served from 1 to 6 p.m., and the event will feature music, prizes and drawings.
XYoungstown American Hungarian Federation will hold its 77th annual Hungarian Day from 1 to 7 p.m. Aug. 10 at Youngstown Hungarian Club, 2219 Donald Ave., Youngstown. Music, ethnic foods and refreshments will be available. Admission is $2. Raffles and door prizes will be featured.
CRAFT SHOWS
XTables are available for crafters interested in showing their items at the Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Department's Firemen's Follies to be held Aug. 24 beginning at 11 a.m. Crafters will be seated in an air-conditioned building. FESTIVALS
XSt. Lucy Church will hold its annual indoor Food Fest from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 and noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 10 at the parish center, Tenney Avenue, Campbell. Homemade foods such as pizza, pasta bowls, polenta, greens and beans, sausage and meatball sandwiches, pepperoni rolls, Italian fries, homemade sweet rolls, pizza fritta and Italian cookies will be available. There will be music, and a raffle will be held for a $2,000 grand prize, $1,000 second-place prize and $500 third-place prize. For information call the parish office at (330) 755-4132.
SALES
XAmerican Legion Post 560, 103 12th St., Campbell, will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 4 and 5.
XCortland United Methodist Church, 155 N. High St., will sponsor a chicken barbecue Saturday with lunch from noon to 2 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 to 6:30. TRIPS
XDiocesan Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will visit the Sorrowful Mother Shrine Aug. 20 in Bellevue. A bus will leave at 8 a.m. from St. Christine Church parking lot.
