YOUNGSTOWN -- Mill Creek MetroParks' biennial reptile exhibit will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Sunday at MetroParks Farm. Members of the Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists will bring their creatures to this award-winning display.
Visitors will see reptiles in many colors, shapes and sizes. Boas, pythons, rat snakes, king snakes, albino snakes, rattlesnakes, lizards, crocodilians and frogs make up the menagerie.
National speaker Keith Gisser of "Herps Alive!" will present programs featuring his live animals at 2 and 3:30 p.m.
Get a preview of Sunday's show at 7 p.m. Saturday, as guest speaker Martin Rosenberg presents "Amazing Amphibians" and remarkable reptiles at MetroParks Farm.
The program is recommended for school-age children through adults.

Howland summer camp
HOWLAND -- Howland Township's Summer Youth and Recreation Program camps, scheduled for Aug. 4-8, will begin with the Outdoor Adventure program.
The program is for children ages 6 to 13. Participants should wear athletic attire and athletic shoes and meet at Howland Township Park.
Registration forms were distributed to the Howland schools and are also available at the Howland Township Administration Building, 205 Niles-Cortland Road NE.
The registration fee is $15 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. The fee includes a T-shirt at each camp. Checks should be made payable to the "Summer Youth Sport and Rec Program" and mailed to or dropped off at the township administration building.
Child-support change
YOUNGSTOWN -- Beginning Monday, walk-in child-support payments in Mahoning County must be made at the county Department of Job and Family Services office in McGuffey Plaza on North Garland Avenue. Payments will no longer be accepted at 112 W. Commerce St.
