CANFIELD CITY
July 15
Theft, drug abuse, paraphernalia: A 21-year-old Youngstown woman who was on probation is accused of stealing a pack of cigarettes at Giant Eagle and was arrested by police, who reportedly found her in possession of a metal pipe with a brass barrel containing suspected marijuana residue.
July 16
Stolen trailer: A 53-foot Strick van trailer was stolen from Dart Trucking Co., 61 Railroad St.
July 18
Arrest: A 39-year-old Poland man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession when police found a marijuana cigarette during a traffic arrest on West Main Street. The man also had a box of cigarettes containing several half-smoked marijuana cigarettes.
July 19
Drug paraphernalia: A 23-year-old Boardman man was arrested during a traffic stop when police reportedly found a sack containing a cigar tool, a large multicolored glass pipe and a small multicolored glass pipe. A 20-year-old New Springfield woman was also arrested and found to have a bottle containing a white pipe, both with suspected marijuana residue on them.
Missing or stolen: A paycheck was reported missing or stolen at a residence in the 5000 block of East Main Street.
Theft: A man who left his truck at Perkins, 587 E. Main St., to clean a friend's car returned to see a man flee south toward the Village Apartments after stealing a CD player valued at $289 from the dash.

July 13
Burglary: Entry was made through the northwest window while a homeowner was sleeping in the 1000 block of Raspberry Lane.
Theft from auto: A CD player and a flashlight were stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Baylor Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Entry was made through the front door and $60 was stolen from Something Special Florist, 5015 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from auto: Binders and chain links were stolen from Fyda Freightliner, 3260 Seventy-Six Drive.
July 14
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was damaged in the residential 2000 block of Springmeadow Circle.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was damaged in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.
Criminal damage: A windshield was damaged in the residential 3000 block of Meander Reserve.
Criminal damage: A vehicle door window was damaged in the residential 3000 block of Meander Reserve.
Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was entered and a set of skis was stolen in the residential 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue. Poland police later recovered the skis.
Sex offense: A man was allegedly masturbating in a vehicle at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: The paint on a vehicle was damaged in the residential 300 block of Rosemont Avenue.
July 15
Theft from auto: Cash was stolen with damage to the dashboard and stereo of a vehicle parked on the street in the residential 5000 block of Colgate Drive.
Burglary: Several items were taken after entry was gained through a rear window at a residence in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Run.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was damaged and license plates were confiscated in the residential 80 block of Maple Avenue.
Theft from auto: A CD player and cell phone were stolen from a vehicle in the 5000 block of Stanford Avenue.
Theft from auto: An cell phone was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the residential 500 block of Purdue Avenue.
Criminal damage: A marble was thrown through a window of a residence in the 10 block of North Turner Road.
July 16
Fleeing: A man left his car and fled on foot in the roadway at Forest Hill Drive and Avalon Court. Stereo equipment was recovered in the trunk of his car.
Criminal damage: A storm door was damaged in the residential 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.
Burglary: An attached garage was entered and tools were stolen in the 600 block of Purdue Ave.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM cassette was stolen from an auto in the 600 block of Purdue Ave.
Theft from auto: An AM-FM compact disc player was stolen from an auto in the 300 block of Beechcrest Drive.
Criminal damage: A living-room window was damaged in the 1700 block of Laurie Drive.

Obstructing official business: A man was issued a summons regarding obstructing official business at Billy's Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road.
Attempted auto theft: The steering column was damaged on a 1991 Buick at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Criminal damage: Paint damage to a vehicle was caused by an egg in the residential 4000 block of Alderwood Drive.
Personal injury: A dog bite was reported in the residential 3000 block of Claridge Drive.
Theft from auto: An Ohio temporary registration was stolen from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Forgery: A man is a suspect in a case at Sky Bank, 6010 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Paint damage to a vehicle was reported in the 5000 block of Sterling Court.
July 18
Burglary: A screen was cut to gain entrance and a residence was ransacked in the 1000 block of County Line Road.
Theft from auto: A pocket knife and change were stolen from a vehicle in the carport in the 400 block of Woodhurst Blvd. There was damage to the window and the interior light.
Theft from auto: A CD player and six compact discs were stolen from an auto in the parking lot at 4813 Westchester Drive.
Theft from auto: A CD player and $10 were stolen from a vehicle in a carport in the 60 block of North Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: Damage to vinyl siding was reported in the residential 400 block of Aspen Drive, possibly by a sling-shot and marble.

Theft: A newspaper box valued at $500 was stolen from the sidewalk at Maddy Rose Cafe, 3646 Canfield Road.

Personal injury: A 14-year-old was bitten by the neighbor's dog in the residential 5000 block of West Rockwell Road.

Attempted auto theft: A 2002 Freightliner was moved a short distance. The windshield and side window were broken out at the Rebel South lot, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A 1993 red and black Honda was stolen from Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Money was stolen via Western Union at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Two rings and $400 in cash were stolen from a room at the Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.
